Villa Nueva Golf is a Parkland course full of dog-legs, water hazards & large undulating that will delight even the most demanding golfer. The 5 lakes and 90 bunkers provide a risk and reward option on every hole. The 16th, 17th and 18th holes feature water, which makes for a testing finish.
El Puerto Golf Course is situated in Puerto de Santa Maria near Cadiz. Designed by the golf professional Manuel Piñero, the former Spanish Ryder Cup player, Golf El Puerto is a good test of golf. The course is quite undulating and has natural water resources which have been used to create four lakes that are linked by streams. These water hazards protect some of the greens and make the accuracy of the approach shots very important.
This 18 hole par 72 course is 6,100 meters long from the yellow tees and it will provide a good test of golf to players of all handicaps. The greens are exceptional, and up to professional tour standard, numerous indigenous trees have been planted on and around the golf course and the architect have worked wonders with the terrain to create a course that can be a nice place for a pleasant social round or a venue for a professional championship.
Costa Ballena Golf is situated between the towns of Sanlucar and Puerto de Santa Maria, tucked away by the beach and easily accessed from Jerez de la Frontera and Cadiz, Spain. Jose Maria Olazabal was in charge of the design of this versatile course where players of all levels can play an excellent round of golf, enjoying the stunning views over the Atlantic .
Laid out on relatively flat land this José Olazabal design has made each loop of nine quite different and distinctive. It is an open and flat course that consists of 27 holes, 18 of which are of championship standard. The wide greens and fairways are typical of an American style golf course with 6572m, Par 72, it was designed by the Global Golf Company running up and down a long sloping landscape and features many beautiful lakes, views over the sherry growing vineyards and plenty of bunkers. One in particular has been created in the shape of a horse’s head in reference to the world famous performing horses of the region.
The Montecastillo Golf Club is situated next to the Jerez Grand Prix race track, this fantastic golf course is regarded as one of the finest in the province of Cadiz in Spain. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, Montecastillo is a beautiful, reasonably undulated, golf course with artistically placed lakes and spectacular elevated tee boxes surrounded by rolling hills.
This is 18 holes course (par 72) presents a challenging layout, although with up to five tee positions on each hole, it is also possible for high handicappers to enjoy their round. The fairways are wide and appear very inviting. However, there are some cleverly-positioned bunkers so you need to exercise caution. The greens are very large and fast, while some of the tees are elevated. Water hazards affect half a dozen of the holes. As this is a long course, buggies are recommended. The first few holes are especially long, but as you continue around the course, water comes into play several times and accuracy becomes more important.
Las Lomas de Sancti Petri lies within the urbanization of Novo Sancti Petri in Cadiz, Spain and has been open since 2006. The course was designed by Manuel Piñero, a Champion in the Spanish Open, World Champion Teams and Single, European Ryder Cup member and Ryder Cup Vice-captain ex world cup player.
Lomas de Sancti Petri course is a beautiful challenging course ideal for beginners and players who want to fine tune their iron and short game. On a lot of holes you will find water hazards come in play which makes it a technical golf course to play. The small and well maintained greens are protected by bunkers and slopes so accuracy is very important.
